The Argentine Zebrafish Network is the organizer of ZebRA 2025, which will take place at the Chascomús Institute of Technology. A new exchange and update session will be held there soon, and in this edition, Dr. Carolina Martínez , professor and researcher at the National University of Quilmes (UNQ), will participate as a member of the event’s organizing committee, reaffirming her commitment to the development of the Zebrafish model at the national level.

In addition, Dr. Jimena Prieto , also a researcher at UNQ, has been invited as a speaker to discuss her lines of research and experiences in the use of Zebrafish as an alternative model in biomedical and toxicological studies.

The event aims to promote knowledge exchange, strengthen collaboration among the country’s laboratories, and encourage the responsible use of non-traditional models, aligned with the 3R principles and good scientific practices.

The growing participation of UNQ researchers in national networks consolidates their active role in the advancement of experimental science in Argentina, especially in the use of alternative models with high translational potential.
